About Our CEO
Built by Mauritians, for Mauritius — with a global standard.
Nadir Hossen Soobratty is a Mauritian entrepreneur, born and raised in Mauritius, with a strong commitment to contributing to the country’s long-term development. After completing his early education locally, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2009 to pursue a BSc in Actuarial Science at the London School of Economics. He went on to build over 14 years of experience within leading global financial institutions including KPMG, NatWest Group, and Deutsche Bank, where he held senior leadership roles in internal audit and enterprise risk management. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), his work involved engaging directly with regulators such as the PRA, ECB, and Federal Reserve, and advising senior leadership on complex risk and governance frameworks.
Having built a strong international career, Nadir made a deliberate decision to return to Mauritius with a clear purpose: to apply global standards, discipline, and execution to local challenges. Through Enovra Energy Solutions Ltd, he focuses on delivering clean energy solutions that are practical, affordable, and scalable for the Mauritian market, addressing rising energy costs and improving reliability for everyday life.
More broadly, Nadir’s vision extends beyond a single company. He is committed to contributing to a more self-sufficient and resilient Mauritius — one that builds its own capabilities, supports its people, and competes at a regional and global level. His work combines entrepreneurship, innovation, and national development to create meaningful impact and support a sustainable future.
